Privacy policy

This is a small site that hosts browser experiments. It is built to need as little of your data as possible, and the short version is that it does not ask you for any.

What is not collected

• There are no accounts, logins or sign-up forms.
• You are never asked for your name, email address or any other personal detail.
• Nothing you do inside an experiment is sent anywhere. The simulations run entirely in your browser and the results are discarded when you close the tab.
• No advertising or tracking cookies are set by this site.
• One experiment, Chain Reaction, remembers the highest level you reached using your browser's local storage. That value never leaves your device and is not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data erases it.

What is collected

Aggregate visit statistics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which experiments people open. It is cookieless — it does not store anything on your device and does not build a profile of you across sites. It records the page visited, the referring site, and coarse details such as country, browser and device type. IP addresses are used transiently to derive that country and are not stored. Server logs. The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs for security and operations.

Advertising

This site does not currently display ads. If that changes, this page will be updated to name the ad provider and explain the cookies involved before any ad is served.

Fonts and third-party resources

Some experiments load typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so tells Google your IP address and browser so it can return the correct font file. Google's policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Children

The experiments are harmless to look at, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects nothing from them.

Your rights

Because no personal data is stored, there is generally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, write to me and I will look into it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The full edit history is public in the repository.
